Key Account Manager - Renewable energies (PV and BESS)

With its experienced team of researchers, scientists and engineers, KIWA PI Berlin offers a wide range of design, testing and evaluation services with a focus on the risk management and quality assurance.
Kiwa PI Berlin has a permanent subsidiary located in Bilbao since 2019 and became part of the Kiwa Group in 2022.
Job purpose
Reporting to the Head of Sales he/she will be responsible for preparing the technical and economic proposals for the projects and collaborate with sales and marketing areas to build customer loyalty.
In more detail he/she will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare competitive and convincing proposals for customers based on their needs and applying a high level of knowledge of Kiwa PI Berlin’s complex service portfolio.
Structuring and refining proposal generation and sales processes.
Working together with business development and marketing staff to build customer loyalty.
Generate and manage ongoing sales with a range of pre-existing customers in Spain and EU.
Attend events and releasing marketing content to support growth.
Expand the customer base by identifying companies in the market to generate new leads.
Professionally promote Kiwa PI Berlin and proactively market Kiwa PI Berlin´s products and services, including attending events and releasing marketing content to support growth.
Manage product and service development needs.
Visiting and serving clients and projects primarily in the EU, Asia and North Africa.
The activity includes alignment and collaboration with other Kiwa group companies (mainly Germany, USA, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, France and China).
Successful candidates will have:
Degree in engineering, a master or specialization in renewable energies is an asset.
3years of experience in sales support functions with direct contact with customer
3years of experience in the PV industry in contact with sales and proposal area.
Good knowledge of PV/BESS plants and equipment manufacturers, products, processes, and quality.
Experience in tender management, proposals preparation and follow up.
Customer oriented and results-driven.
Additional experience on Quality Assurance or industrial manufacturing processes is an asset.
Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
Experience working with international teams across multiple locations would be valued.
Ability to work in autonomy and capacity of managing client interactions independently.
Personal skills such as: proactivity, reliability, teamwork, good customer relations and negotiating skills.
